Lesson 153 – Sways and Clubface

I had to do some creative video editing to overlay your body in the same position as the tour comparison. Quick reminder to always try to show your entire body in the frame, with your HANDS and TARGET in the center of the frame. See the How To Record page for more information.
As for the swing, the title describes the two main issues with lateral sway of the hips and clubface control at impact. Excessive flexing and movement of the knees in the backswing can draw the hips back, and cause all kinds of Low-Point issues. In this case, reduced knee flex and weight transfer would be a good place to start improving contact.
Clubface control is hard to try to diagnose in a couple online videos. There’s a small sample size and strike location on the clubface can effect it’s angle at impact. Generally grip changes and wrist angles are key to maintaining/adjusting the face angle, but there are many more variables than that.
